It’s Just Different

A cozy workspace featuring a wooden table, two metal chairs, a brass lamp, and a jar on the table. The wall above showcases two flower-themed framed artworks.

Funny story time because I’m tired and my filter went out for nachos.

I have looked at these pictures SO MANY TIMES. I have had them on my phone as background. I have shared them with folks. I *LIKE* these photos. I think they are good, which is why I put them in my portfolio as options to be exhibited.

Then I arrived at the venue, measured, used the level, mailed the small nails, checked it again, and repeated two more times.

Then I stepped back to make sure the composition looked nice.

And I froze.

Then, because my filter is not functioning today, I said out loud with a room of 6 people, “Wow, those are really pretty.”

Yes, folks laughed. So did I.

It’s just so different to see them on display like that.

It’s pretty amazing.
